Regionals! - Lake Pupuke

Well what another great wknd of racing. Second in Wellington behind NZArmy, and now second in Auckland behind NZ Airforce. Well truly our armed forces should do well, after all they are meant to be fit and strong!

Thanks to the Auckland Dragon Boat Association and all its volunteers for putting on a fine regatta, racing went extremely smoothly.

Go the EW crew, we just keep doing great things this season. Its been great, so we look forward to nationals at the end of the month, new water to paddle, new sights to see, and some tough competition. Should make for a great finale for the end of the season.

We will be missing a few familiar faces, our lovely sponsor Photos Forever unfortunately will not be there capturing the moments of the day, and we will miss you deb and tery. We thank you for all your hard work this season.

Hamer well he is getting married, we still trying to figure out why you had to set the date up on the nationals!! and Sez shame family cant come with you. You guys will all be missed.

We'll be missing our finest! The rest of us will try and make do, but all those not present will be truly missed.

Lake Pupuke was good to us, and getting consistently under the 2:10 mark is a real standout achievement (we don't speak of the mystery 2:15, and we don't blame Gin or Rick at all).

Thanks all, great regatta!
